GEFCA is one of the top leading community based organization that works with the communities to Combat HIV/AIDS epidemic within the societies especially within North Kyoga Region where there has been a terrible war for over 35 years which has resulted to the spread of HIV/AIDS which has remain uncured.

The right side picutere shows a man who have been infected by HIV/AIDS unfortunately he was not sensitized on how to control this epidemic, so he remained at home without proper care and treatment, but GEFCA worked hard to make sure he gets medical care and support through referral that was given to him by GEFCA.
